Depending on your needs, your motivation and the frequency of meetings, it may take a few months or even more than a year before your objectives are achieved. Various research studies have demonstrated that counselling and psychotherapy services provided online are as effective as those offered in person. They may even be beneficial for some people. For example, they can allow schedule flexibility or accessibility of services. However, teleconsultation has certain limits (e.g. need to have a space that ensures confidentiality, possible interruptions, technological difficulties, complications of certain intervention techniques, etc.).
